CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Carter Dumont has more than 16 years of operational and technical experience in the oil and gas industry, within Australia and overseas. He has a proven track record of delivering projects cost-effectively, paying careful attention to engineering, design, planning and safe implementation with selective use of new technology.
He spent 11 years with Ensign Energy Services firstly in Canada, in exploration and production drilling/completions before progressing to engineering, sales and commercial development in Canada and Australia. In 2014 he joined Origin Energy with responsibility for large scale contracts in drilling, completions and well stimulation.
Carter joined Condor in June 2018 and became Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer July 2019.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Chris brings over 33 years of onshore and offshore experience in the Upstream Energy industry working for both major Operators and Service Providers. He has held several operational, technical and management positions delivering conventional and unconventional drilling & completions, well intervention/stimulation and production engineering projects in Canada, USA, Trinidad, and Australia. He has spent most of his career with Imperial Oil, ConocoPhillips and Schlumberger before joining the Condor team.
Chris builds collaborative teams that deliver continuous performance improvement through benchmarking, capturing and sharing best practices/lessons learned, challenging existing processes and implementing innovative technology. Chris also serves as a volunteer mentor with the SPE assisting young engineers with technical competency and career development.
Chris holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Colorado State University.
Chris joined Condor in March 2020.
GENERAL MANAGER – TECHNOLOGY
Elham is a Chartered Petroleum Engineer who brings more than 20 years of technical and operational experience to the Condor team. He has extensive global experience in the design and evaluation of stimulation treatments in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs. He has worked on projects in Canada, the US, Mexico, Chile, New Zealand, Poland, India, Turkey, Australia, Siberia, Oman and Kazakhstan.
His experience spans the various aspects of the upstream cycle, ranging but not limited to field development planning, consultation with government regulatory bodies for policy development for the oil and gas industry, reservoir and production engineering as well as operations. His technical ability is supported by extensive project management experience and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams of experts.
NZ SERVICE MANAGER
James has 12 years’ experience as an engineer in the oil and gas industry with extensive knowledge in hydraulic fracture stimulation.
Prior to joining Condor James had 7 years with Halliburton as a frac engineer and frac diagnostics project manager. He has significant experience in unconventional plays in North America, Australia and more recently in New Zealand.
He has been with Condor from the beginning with Beach Energy in the Cooper Basin and has managed Condor’s growth into New Zealand. James has built and continues to build an outstanding team of experienced personnel to set the benchmark in service quality to our New Zealand based clients.
FRACTURE STIMULATION MANAGER
Scott has 15 years industry experience in numerous office and field roles. Specialising in fracture stimulation, coiled tubing well intervention, wireline operations, slick line operations, flow back and well testing, from an engineering / modelling perspective, to on site operational execution. Scott has worked in both operating and servicing sides of the industry.
During Scott’s time with Condor Energy he has excelled in a number of roles including B&D Manager SA, Field Coordinator, Compliance Officer, Team Leader Operations and now bringing his experience and expertise to Fracture Stimulation.
Kim has over 12 years HSE experience in both field and office-based HSE roles, with the past 7 years in the oil and gas industry.
Prior to joining Condor in early 2019, Kim worked with BHGE (formerly GE Oil & Gas - Pressure Control) and Halliburton Australia in HSE roles, which provided industry experience in Australia, New Zealand and PNG.
A study background in Behavioural Science (majors of work and health) and a Masters Degree in OHS combines HSE technical and operational knowledge.
BDM & PROJECT MANAGER
Willie has more than 7 years of industry experience within Australia and New Zealand and has held both technical and operational roles as a field and office based engineer with a wide-ranging knowledge in the hydraulic fracture stimulation, coil tubing well intervention and wireline services. Prior to joining Condor, he had 2.5 years experience with Halliburton as a frac engineer.
Willie joined the Condor team in 2015 and has since played an integral part in Condor’s growth and success in the New Zealand fracture stimulation service quality success. He has also continuously built and grown the project management/delivery process within Condor whilst taking on an essential role in the general business development of the company.
Alex De Cuevas
Alex has over 10 years experience in a Senior Finance Manager role in both the public and private
sector. Alex’s core competencies are management reporting, management accounting and systems
implementation experience. The majority of Alex’s experience has been within consultancy service providers, in the mining, hydrocarbons and infrastructure industries.
